COEET Department Welcomes Computer Engineering Students for AY 2026–2027
The COEET Department conducted its departmental orientation for AY 2026–2027 at the University Gymnasium on July 27, 2026. Led by Department Head Engr. Airene E. Isabedra and COEET Governor Justine Ruzzele R. Abad, the event introduced faculty, student council officers, academic guidelines, ICpEP involvement, fund reports, and recognized Dean's Listers.
The Computer Engineering and Electronics Technology (COEET) Department conducted its departmental orientation for the academic year 2026-2027 on July 27, 2026, at the university Gymnasium.
The orientation opened with an invocation, followed by opening remarks from COEET Department Head Engr. Airene E. Isabedra and a special message from the university’s Administrative Officer Dean Gaspar Hector C. Tapire.
Subsequently, COEET Governor Justine Ruzzele R. Abad formally introduced the department's faculty members to the students. This school year’s Department Student Council (DSC) officers, alongside the year-level officers, were also introduced.
Thereafter, a discussion of the Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines (ICpEP) took place, followed by a presentation of fresh graduate jobs for the benefit of the students.
The program also recognized the Dean’s Listers, followed by briefings on essential academic matters, including upcoming school activities and attendance guidelines presented by Secretary Jennelyn De Chavez.
Meanwhile, department fund allocations were reported by Ms. Ann Jerelene Mendoza and Ms. Ysraella Resma, followed by the departmental rules and regulations detailed by Engr. Isabedra.
The event concluded with a muse and escort screening and closing remarks delivered by Engr. Isabedra.
