CITHM Hosts Orientation for Future Hospitality, Tourism Professionals
CITHM conducted its departmental orientation, "Compass to Success," at the EUC Gymnasium on July 20.

The College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management (CITHM) facilitated its departmental orientation, "Compass to Success: Guiding Future Hospitality and Tourism Professionals," last July 20 at the EUC Gymnasium.
Hosted by Carmela Remo and Patrick Mayuga, the morning program began with an opening salvo from CITHM officers, followed by opening remarks from CITHM Department Head Asheila O. Tarranco. Dean of Studies Dr. Crystal B. Quintana also delivered an inspiring message, encouraging students to embrace their journey within the department.
Following the introduction of the CITHM faculty, the session proceeded with a comprehensive discussion on upcoming events, academic and career opportunities, national certification, campus facilities, professional ethics, and departmental guidelines.
In the afternoon, the program featured organizational orientations for the FuTourism Society (FTS) and the Young Hospitality Professionals Society (YHPS), led by Isay Garbin and John Tristan Angeles, respectively.
The event concluded with the official oath-taking of the newly elected officers, followed by closing remarks from Dr. Juanda Lee Rayos.
