CBA Kicks off New Academic Year with Inaugural Departmental Orientation
The College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) held its First Semester AY 2026–2027 orientation on July 28, 2026, at the EUC Gymnasium. Led by Department Head Ms. Rosana Jimenez and Department Adviser Ms. Lorena Ortega, the event featured the oath-taking of new student council officers, faculty introductions, team-building activities, and closing remarks by BSA Governor Kristel Abdon and BSBA Governor Tiffany Robles.

College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) students and faculty members gathered at the EUC Gymnasium on the afternoon of July 28 for the commencement of their departmental orientation for the first semester of the academic year 2026-2027.
The general orientation began with the registration of students before the official opening program, hosted by Mr. Karl Tyron Murillo and Ms. Alanie Alexie Filonia.
The program continued with the opening remarks delivered by the department adviser, Ms. Lorena Ortega, and the department head, Ms. Rosana Jimenez. This was followed by the introduction of the CBA faculty members.
The orientation also featured the official presentation and oath-taking ceremony of the newly appointed CBA Department Student Council officers.
To entertain the audience, former Governor Marianne Denice Matugas performed an intermission number.
The atmosphere became more lively as the newly appointed student council facilitated a series of team-building activities aimed at strengthening camaraderie among students within the department.
The orientation concluded with the awarding of winners from the team-building activities, followed by the closing remarks delivered by Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) Governor Kristel Abdon and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) Governor Tiffany Robles.
